IDF Hunts Down Wanted Terrorists: 18 Arrested, Knives, IEDs Seized

The IDF Spokesperson stated the IDF and security forces had arrested 15 wanted men during nightly raids in Judea and Samaria on suspicions of involvement in terrorism along with violence towards civilians and security forces. Seven of the detained are wanted activists in the Hamas terrorist organization. All were transferred to the relevant security forces for questioning.

During search operations in the village of Katana, the IDF also seized several knives and uniforms who were all handed over to the relevant security forces.

The Police foreign press spokesman stated the Israel police arrested three suspects on Tuesday morning on suspicions making and making and possession of seven improvised pipe bombs during police and IDF operations in the village of Bet Awwa in the Hebron Governate.

During the search which was carried out during the suspects’ arrests, the police additionally seized seven improvised pipe bombs. The bombs were all destroyed by bomb disposal experts and the investigation is still ongoing.
