VIDEO: Why We Still Cry Over the Destruction of Jerusalem

jerusalem_video

An inspiring new film journeys through time to explore our connection to Jerusalem through the eyes of an ancient stone. Proceeds from the film go towards protecting Jewish families living in reclaimed neighborhoods of eastern Jerusalem.

Each year on Tisha B’Av the Jewish people mourn the destruction of both Holy Temples in Jerusalem.

But after 2000 years, is the loss of our Temple nothing more than a sad chapter in the annals of history that we commemorate each year? Or even now, centuries later, is it something that truly has a place in our lives?

An inspiring new film called Silver Linings answers theses questions by exploring the Jewish people’s emotional connection to Jerusalem through the eyes of an ancient stone.

Proceeds from the film support the safety of over 1000 Jewish families who live in protected neighborhoods of reclaimed eastern Jerusalem, in and around the Temple Mount area.
