Reading the mainstream news today, one might believe that the only impediment to peace in the Middle East is Israeli control of Jerusalem and the Judea and Samaria region, often referred to as the West Bank.
But going back in history – not ancient history, but over the last several decades – one would learn that Israel’s enemies have continually attempted to destroy the entire Jewish state, even before the IDF liberated Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, among other territory, in the 1967 Six Day War.
