Preparing specially guarded matzohs – Shmura Matzoh – for the Passover holiday takes a lot of hard work. But as you can see, it’s a joyful task.

This interesting and lively video shows the process involved in the preparation of Shmura Matzoh.

This special “guarded” matzoh for Passover refers to those that are prepared and baked under greater stringency than the regular matzot, ensuring that no chametz – unleavened grain, which is prohibited on Passover – comes into contact with the product. The supervision is in place from the time of harvesting through the baking and packaging.

It’s a lot of work. But look how much fun they’re having!
