Eight days – Eight Special Musical Arrangements for Chanukah!
The number of musicians in this special Israel Philharmonic performance is the number of candles lit on the eighth and final night of Chanukah.
Eight of the orchestra musicians perform a special arrangement of holiday classics “These Candles” and “The Days of Chanukah,“ followed by “Maoz Tzur (Strong Rock of My Salvation),“ the famous Chanukah prayer recited in song during the candle-lighting.
