A workshop producing ammunition for Palestinian terror, uncovered by Israeli security forces, is the largest illegal weapons factory discovered this year.
Hundreds of soldiers from several IDF units, in conjunction with Israeli Border Police, uncovered a large weapons-producing factory beneath an Arab home overnight Sunday in Hebron, a hotbed of Palestinian terror.
A father and son were arrested, and several more are expected to be taken into custody in the coming days.
Since the beginning of 2016 – in a special effort to uncover and destroy illegal weapons-production plants in Judea and Samaria in the war against Palestinian terror – Israeli forces have rounded up more than 420 firearms and shut at least 40 illegal weapons factories.
