Israel is home to the Volcani Center, which is leading the way in medical marijuana research.
The Volcani center, located in Beit Dagan, is a leading research center for medical cannabis.
The center is unique in that it grows its own marijuana plants, giving researchers the ability to breed new traits useful for medical applications.
Scientists are coordinating the research with Israeli hospitals and developing treatments for ailments that to date have no cure, such as, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Crohn’s disease.
