Migvax, which had already developed a vaccine for a strain of coronavirus that affects chickens, is making headway into developing an oral vaccine for humans.
Competing with other countries around the world to develop a vaccine against COVID-19, Israeli company MixVax has appointed a ‘heavyweight’ in the pharmaceutical world, Eyal Desheh, as its new chairman.
Desheh discusses the process with i24 News, saying that if all goes well, it should be a matter of just months before testing on humans can begin.
“We’re hopeful,” Desheh says.
