Arabs and Israelis united for a massive emergency drill in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Zur Bahr that prepared participants to save lives in the event of catastrophe.

Arab volunteer first responders trained with Israeli security forces, firefighters and the Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue organization to prepare for potential emergencies as part of a complex emergency drill this week.

The exercise was carried out at the Zur Bahr girls high school not least of all because large number of Arab and Muslim volunteers have joined MDA in during the past few years.

Check out why the volunteers chose to train with MDA in this awesome video!
