VIDEO: Arab Nurse Recites the ‘Four Questions’ for Elderly Jewish Patients in Israel

Arab nurse Ma Nishtana

A glimpse of Israeli society: An Arab nurse comforts elderly Jewish patients who could not enjoy their families on Passover due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

An Arab nurse at Shoham Geriatric Center in the northern Israeli town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur recited the Ma Nishtana – the “Four Questions” at a Passover Seder on Wednesday evening for the elderly Jewish patients.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the patients – who, in their age group, are among the most high-risk – were unable to be with their children and grandchildren for the holiday.

The Four Questions are traditionally recited by the youngest members of the family.
