Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades arrived in Israel on Sunday to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. President Anastasiades stated that the reason for his visit was to “enhance bilateral relations” with Israel “in the field of energy, security, economy and trade.”
