A group of Israeli high schoolers won fourth place at the FIRST Global Challenge at the Robot Carnival in Mexico City last week.

Team Israel, known as “Black Magic 11901,” was comprised of four girls and a boy from the Lehman high school in Dimona, southern Israel.

The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Global Challenge invites each country to send a team to compete in its robotics Olympics, and more than 180 nations across the world traveled to Mexico City to participate.

Team USA came in first, with Team Mexico and Team Romania right behind.

In addition to reaching fourth place, along with China and Micronesian republic Kiribati, Team Israel took home the bronze medal in the International Unity competition, in addition to garnering a Safety Award, the Jerusalem Post reported on Tuesday.

Black Magic 11901’s motto is: “If the sky is the limit, we want to reach the moon.”

“We believe that through hard work and commitment to the goal, we can achieve everything we want,” the team’s bio proclaims.

Team Israel member Coral Zaguri wrote on Facebook: “I met amazing people from all over the world, people I did not think I would connect with them at all… Who would have believed that kids from Israel would be best friends with kids from Iran? I had so much fun with them and I do not think I would find people more amazing than them!”
