The IDF is investigating a crash landing of an air force plane that claimed the life of a crew member.

An Israel Air Force pilot was killed Wednesday afternoon when an F16 fighter jet crash-landed at the Ramon Airbase in the Negev.

The crew’s navigator was lightly injured and evacuated to a local hospital.
