Israel approved a bill which stipulates that any individual who calls for, or supports, a boycott of Israel will be barred from entering the country.

Israel’s Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved a bill on Monday which stipulates that any individual who calls for a boycott of Israel or supports it will be barred from entering the country.

The bill, submitted by Member of Knesset (MK), includes barring the entry into Israel for work or tourism purposes for anyone who acts to marginalize or isolate the Jewish State.

The bill will be brought to the Knesset plenum for a preliminary reading in the coming weeks.

“Approval of the bill is necessary,” Magal said. “It is unacceptable that a person who tries to harm the State of Israel would be allowed to enter it freely. Whoever calls for a boycott on Israel is activating terrorism against it, and it is inconceivable that he would be allowed to roam the country uninhibited.”

The anti-Israel BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement has been working relentlessly around the globe to combat the Jewish State in any arena possible, supposedly in support of the Palestinian cause. Its actual objective is to bring to Israel’s end.
