ISAIAH 66:8

Forty years ago, on the 4th of July, 1976, Israeli soldiers launched a daring operation into Uganda to rescue 104 Jews who were taken hostage on an Air France flight. The mission was an astounding and miraculous success, and an hour after it began, the hostages were safely on their way home. One Israeli soldier – the lead commando, Yoni Netanyahu, brother of the Prime Minister – had fallen in the battle for their lives. Operation Entebbe inspired the world and proved the IDF’s commitment to being the defender of the Israeli people.
