IDF US drill

The two armies trained together to further cultivate their operational ties and achieve excellence in saving lives.

Israeli and US military forces held a joint search-and-rescue exercise in Israel on Wednesday.

The drill, conducted at the Lod industrial area, included 78 American soldiers from the National Guards of Indiana, Virginia, and other states’ search and rescue units, along with the IDF’s Search and Rescue unit.

The units practiced extraction from collapsed buildings, while fully cooperating and learning each other’s methods and tactics.

The IDF and the US military train together regularly, share information and constantly strive to cultivate closer operational relations.

The IDF Search and Rescue unit has vast experience and has operated to save lives in disasters around the world.
