The Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem’s Old City. In 1948, Jews were expelled from here, and a Jordanian commander boasted that “for the first time in 1,000 years, not a single Jew remains in the Jewish quarter…the Jews’ return here is impossible.” In 1967, the Jews miraculously returned and rebuilt, just as foretold by our prophets.
