With 101 hostages remaining in Gaza, former Sodastream CEO Daniel Birnbaum is offering residents of Gaza $100,000 for returning captives.

In a video circulating on social media, Birnbaum speaks in English with Arabic subtitles offering a cash reward if hostages are released.

“This is a message for the good people in Gaza – I have an offer for you,” Birnbaum said.

“This year was a terrible year; it’s time to wrap things up. It’s time to move on,” Birnbaum said.

He referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer of immunity to Palestinians who handed over hostages.

“A few days ago, Benjamin Netanyahu promised free passage and immunity to anyone who delivers an Israeli prisoner [hostage] to Israel.”

Birnbaum continued, “I would like to add to that a financial reward – anyone who delivers from Gaza a living Israeli prisoner (hostage) will receive $100,000.”

He said that the money would be paid by cash or bitcoin.

Birnbaum stipulated the deadline of October 24th at midnight to return hostages.

“Reach out to this number by Telegram or by WhatsApp, in confidence, and I’ll make the appropriate connections to assure your free passage and reward money,” he said.

“It’s time for you to take control of your life, to build a future for yourself, for your family, and for your community,” Birnbaum concluded.

Released and rescued hostages have described how Gazan civilians from all walks of life, including journalists, doctors and teachers, have been assisting Hamas and guarding hostages, in some cases in their own homes.

An Israeli woman taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during the invasion of southwestern Israel on October 7th was held captive in the home of an Al Jazeera reporter.

Noa Argamani, one of four Israeli hostages freed by Israel in a daring undercover special operations raid in the town of Nuseirat in central Gaza on Saturday,  was found in the home of Abdallah Aljamal, a photojournalist, editor, and reporter for Al Jazeera and the Palestinian Chronicle, Open Source Intelligence Monitor reported.
