Exchange of Fire Between IDF and Hamas on Gaza Border

Hamas gunfire targeted IDF troops stationed on the border with Gaza late Saturday night. The IDF responded with artillery fire that hit a Hamas outpost. No Israeli casualties were reported . Three Hamas fighters were reported injured by Palestinian sources.

Tensions flared on the Gaza border last month after a rocket fired from Gaza landed inside the Israeli city of Sderot, exploding between two houses. Israel responded with airstrikes and artillery that targeted approximately 50 Hamas installations.
