All of God’s bounty is beneficial for us and there are many delicious foods that grow in the Land of Israel, yet the Creator of the world singled out the olive (and its delicious oil) as one of the seven species that is particularly blessed. Dozens of health protective nutrients have been identified in olive oil, benefiting most of the body’s systems.
