Authorities Thwart Attempt to Smuggle Dismantled Pickup Truck into Gaza

Security officers working border control at the Kerem Shalom crossing into Gaza, together with the Shin Bet, were shocked to discover a fully dismantled pick up truck hidden amid a trailer. Those accompanying the smuggled truck claimed they were only transporting spare car parts. But the truck’s model, a Mitsubishi, is known to be very popular among Hamas militants, lending suspicion to the possibility the truck would be used by the terrorist group.
