The IDF is investigating a crash landing of an air force plane that claimed the life of a crew member.
An Israel Air Force pilot was killed Wednesday afternoon when an F16 fighter jet crash-landed at the Ramon Airbase in the Negev.
The crew’s navigator was lightly injured and evacuated to a local hospital.
The IDF is investigating the incident.
The IAF had conducted several airstrikes over the Gaza Strip during the day in response to the firing of a rocket on the southern town of Sderot by Hamas.
