Do most Palestinians want their leadership to make a lasting peace agreement with Israel?
Avi Mangel, a pro-Israel activist, has visited over 20 college campuses, where “over and over again” he was told that the majority of Palestinians want peace.
What causes violence, the students and professors say, is the Israeli “occupation” and “settlements.”
Yet Mangel’s experience as an IDF soldier serving in Judea and Samaria conflicts with that popular claim.
His advice to those interested in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is to learn the real issues plaguing Palestinian society and discover the root of the violence and terror.
That is, if you are truly concerned about peace rather than seeking the destruction of the Jewish state.
