Michael Oren, former Israeli ambassador to the United States, discusses the nomination of Thomas Nides as the new ambassador to Israel by the US Senate.
Nides grew up in a Zionist home and cares deeply about Israel, Oren said.
Considering the Biden administration’s belief in the two-state solution, “we’ll have to learn to disagree as friends,” Oren said.
It will “really test our friendship.”
