What is “occupation”? Depends who you ask.
While one would expect Palestinians to have a clear, unified definition of the term “Israeli occupation”–a fundamental concept in the Palestinian narrative–inaccuracies and falsehoods abound when Palestinians discuss the idea.
One notion, however, threads itself through all of their responses: Israel’s mere existence and its quest for security is “occupation.”
With that in mind, how do Palestinians envision “ending the occupation”?
