VIDEO: Rubio – Negotiations with Hamas Cannot be Accepted as ‘Normal’
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday responded to a reporter who asked whether the US was considering a separate deal with Hamas to secure the release of Americans.
“We want all the hostages released,” he said. However, “these trades that are being made, they’re ridiculous trades—400 people for three. These are nuts.”
He added that what Hamas did is “sick” and “disgusting” and “should never have happened, and we shouldn’t accept it as a normal negotiation.
“These are terrible people, and we need to treat them as such.”
