Lt. Jessica Moeketzi is an example of women empowerment in the IDF, and today she’s a Deputy Commander in a combat unit.
“I feel like gender isn’t an issue anymore in the army,” Lt. Jessica Moeketzi, Deputy commander in an IDF combat unit, told ILTV in an interview.
Indeed, the IDF is the first army in the world to integrate women.
On Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, Moeketzi received a Medal of Excellence from President Isaac Herzog.
