Despite his busy schedule, Netanyahu was finally persuaded by some Russian friends to leave his work behind and take time out for a drink for the New Year. Novy God!
New Year’s Eve is known in Israel as Sylvester – but some Russian friends of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are insisting, “Not Sylvester, Novy God!” (meaning New Year in Russian)”
The Israeli leader has so much on his plate – defense, economics, infrastructure and more.
But does he not deserves a break every now and then?
Enjoy this lighthearted skit in which some Russian friends persuade Netanyahu to take some time out for a drink on the New Year. And then watch the second video to hear the prime minister’s greetings to one and all for 2018.
