Monkeys at Israel’s Safari Park are eating matzoh on Passover.
The Zoological Center Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan, or the Safari Ramat Gan, hosts the largest collection of wildlife under human care in the Middle East.
It is the home of 83 species of mammals, 92 species of birds and 23 species of reptiles.
On Passover, Jews around the world eat matzoh – unleavened bread – to remember their ancestors who fled ancient Egypt who had no time to wait for the dough to rise.
It appears that monkeys, too, are partaking in that tradition in the Jewish state!
