An Israeli Muslim used the lifesaving skills he learned as a member of Israel’s top volunteer EMS organization to rescue a a fellow worshiper in Mecca from certain death.
Like millions of other Muslim pilgrims, Refai Amer of Kfar Qassim, Israel set out for Mecca to visit his faith’s holiest city for Haj.
As a member of Israel’s United Hatzalah volunteer EMS organization, Amer didn’t leave his medkit at home.
