VIDEO: Israel Receives First Batch of Pfizer Corona Vaccine
The first doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine arrived in Israel on Wednesday, with a mass inoculation program set to begin imminently.
On Wednesday, up to 4,000 shots of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine arrived in Israel on a flight from Brussels.
Israel’s Teva Pharmaceuticals is spearheading the effort to distribute the vaccine in the Holy Land, which must be delivered and stored at sub-zero temperatures.
As the country prepares for mass vaccination, the head of Teva’s logistics operation describes preparations to receive hundreds of thousands more doses of the drug, which are set to arrive before the end of the week.
