In anticipation of the fabulous upcoming United with Israel Chanukah party that will take place on December 8, 2015, here is a video showcasing the highlights of last year’s party enjoyed by so many.
In 2014, on the second night of Chanukah, American and Israeli families joined IDF soldiers at two military bases – one just outside Bet Shemesh and the other in the Hebron area – to say ‘thank you’ to Israeli soldiers and present them with special Chanukah gifts.
The event, organized by United with Israel and Thank Israeli Soldiers, featured music, dancing, dinner, Chanukah sufganiot (jelly donuts) and the lighting of the Menorah created from Hamas rockets.
A special ceremony was held in honor of the soldiers in which they received “Warm Winter” care packages and other gifts from United with Israel supporters. Personal letters from admirers the world over were presented as expressions of gratitude and unity.
