VIDEO: Disabled Boy Gets his Wish to Help Save Lives

Magen David Adom

Meet a 12-year-old boy whose greatest wish is to help save lives, despite his own challenges.

With the help of Mishlaot, a humanitarian organization, Yonatan, a disabled 12-year-old boy, is fulfilling his dream of helpig to save lives with Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s emergency medical service and blood bank.

MDA welcomed Yonatan, gave him a tour of the headquarters and allowed him to be involved in responding to an emergency.

He can barely wait to turn 14, the minimum age required to become an official MDA volunteer.

As he explains in the video, it’s more exciting for him to help save lives than to meet a celebrity.

Meet Yonatan and take a look at Israel’s state-of-the-art emergency medical service.
