VIDEO: A Survivor’s Deep Faith in Divine Providence
With moving musical accompaniment, a child survivor of the Holocaust explains his profound belief that God had been with him throughout his internment at the infamous Auschwitz death camp.
Rene Slotkin, an elderly yet youthful man who survived the Holocaust as a child, tells his personal story, explaining his full faith in the Almighty and in Divine Providence.
Indeed, the numbers on his arm, he explains, serve as testimony that God was with him throughout his ordeal.
He quotes the famous Psalm 23 – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”
Despite losing his parents and twin sister at the age of seven, Slotkin, now a grandfather, radiates joy and optimism.
