The Y-Studs, a Jewish a capella group, is celebrating the Festival of Lights this year with a new music video based on the song “Rise Up,” originally performed by American singer and songwriter Andra Day.
The Y-Studs music video reminds us how to “rise up” and stand up for our religious freedom, as the Maccabees did. It shows a college student facing anti-Semitism on campus, but ultimately refusing to let it ruin his Chanukah celebration.
