Major R. proudly follows in his deceased father’s path as an Israeli Air Force pilot.
Major R. grew up around the Air Force. Major R.’s father, Ran, was an Israeli Air Force helicopter pilot, who loved to fly.
On November 24, 2009, Major R.’s father died in a helicopter crash when a civilian flight malfunctioned.
Major R. followed in his father’s footsteps and became an Israeli Air Force pilot and serves as the head of the Artificial Intelligence Department in the Ofek Unit.
