The Genesis Prize Foundation has announced 26 grant recipients as part of its global campaign to promote the truth about Israel, combat anti-Semitism and counteract efforts to delegitimize the Jewish State.

United with Israel (UWI), the world’s largest pro-Israel grassroots community, is among the chosen NGOs. With millions of followers in over 170 countries across the globe, UWI has many years of experience mobilizing the masses to advocate for Israel.

Funding for the grants comes from the $1 million Genesis Prize, awarded to American philanthropist and owner of the New England Patriots football team Robert Kraft. Kraft and GPF were joined by Concert-Together for Israel Ltd., a funding platform supporting the pro-Israel community of non-profit organizations who are dedicated to promoting a positive perception of Israel.

“We are humbled by this honor and thank the Genesis Prize Foundation for recognizing our mission of inspiring Jewish pride, strengthening the bond between Israel and the Diaspora, and – our main goal – speaking out for Israel,” said UWI founder Michael Gerbitz.

When applying for the grant, which was announced last November, UWI focused on the theme: “Israel’s Global Fight Against Covid-19.”

Indeed, the Startup Nation is at the forefront of intensive research to find a vaccine against the global pandemic, which has caused so much suffering around the world.

Furthermore, the country’s handling of the crisis from the beginning has been exemplary. In March, Israel was ranked the safest place in the world with regard to the outbreak of the virus by the Deep Knowledge Group, a consortium of organizations and companies working in breakthrough technology and hi-tech engineering innovation through scientific advances.

As usual in a time of crisis, however, the Jews are once again the targets of outrageous conspiracy theories spread by anti-Semites attempting to blame the Jewish people and the Jewish state for the outbreak. UWI has been vigorously fighting this malice.

“The 2019 Genesis Prize theme focuses on combating global anti-Semitism and increasingly aggressive efforts to challenge the legitimacy of the State of Israel,” said Stan Polovets, co-founder and chairman of The Genesis Prize Foundation.

“These grants are designed to help Israel’s non-profit sector stand up to this scourge by promoting a truthful, inspiring narrative of Israel to audiences around the world, countering Israel’s detractors with factual, positive messages of what the Jewish State truly represents,” he explained.

UWI’s global pro-Israel community has over nine million followers including a database of 800,000 subscribers to its daily email newsletters in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. More than 10,000 new followers join UWI every week.
