As Israelis buried two victims of Palestinian terror Sunday, both in their 20s, another young man was stabbed in the Old City of Jerusalem.
A security guard estimated to be in his 20s was stabbed in the Old City of Jerusalem, adjacent to the Temple Mount, late Sunday afternoon.
Seriously wounded in the chest and limbs, he is being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
“After being notified by United Hatzalah’s dispatch and Command center to the incident in the Old City, I arrived at the scene and found one person in his 20s suffering from a stab wound in their upper chest. He was in serious condition. I treated him at the scene for his injuries following which he was transported from the location of the incident to the hospital for further care and observation,” said United Hatzalah volunteer first responder Dr. Yishai Ben Uri Zilbeger.
The victim “was suffering from numerous stab wounds to his upper body and limbs. We treated him using a special bandage to stop bleeding, a Magen David Adom medic said.
A policeman neutralized the terrorist, who is said to be a Turkish national. He died of his wounds shortly thereafter.
Earlier the same day, Ziv Daos and Netanel Kahalani, victims of a car-ramming on Friday, were laid to rest.
