“Relationship with Israel Continues to Grow,’ Beverly Hills Mayor Tells Justice Minister

Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked

Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold, who encouraged a boycott of Airbnb over its boycott of Judea and Samaria, told an Arutz-7 conference that he “really appreciates” the strong relationship with Israel.

Earlier this week, the Beverly Hills City Council unanimously passed a resolution condemning Airbnb’s decision to remove listings of rentals in Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria.

Furthermore, the Council is encouraging a boycott of the web service, the city announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked met with the mayor at an Arutz-7 conference Thursday night in Beverly Hills, where he was honored for his fight against BDS and support for the State of Israel.
