King David, author of the Book of Psalms, reassures us in today’s verse that G-d will always protect His beloved people from any harm. But Israelis living in the Biblical Heartland today find that they must strengthen their faith that G-d will uphold His promise as they face daily threats from surrounding enemies: Palestinian terrorists whose only wish is to kill as many Jews as possible. In the face of these threats stands the Jewish people who refuse to let the tainted teachings of terror infiltrate our beloved homeland.
