The leader of one of the world’s most vicious terror groups is the unlikely star of a new Israeli ad campaign urging residents of the Jewish state to recycle.

The leader of the Hezbollah terror group, Hassan Nasrallah, has invaded the Israeli city of Tel Aviv — as the face of an eye-catching, satirical new recycling campaign.

A gigantic poster featuring the Lebanese arch-terrorist overlooking Tel Aviv’s Ayalon highway went up Thursday and encourages Israelis to recycle plastic bottles.

Above Nasrallah’s head reads the caption: “I don’t recycle bottles.” Beneath him, the poster says: “Nasrallah has been stuck in a bunker for 12 years. What is your excuse?”

Nasrallah has rarely been seen in public since a 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel, reportedly because he’s scared of being killed in an Israeli attack.

The company responsible for the campaign, Israeli recycling company ELA, was not immediately available for comment.

Bankrolled by Iran, Hezbollah is one of the world’s most powerful terror groups. It also generates revenue via a massive international narcotics network and money laundering operation.

After a nine-month-long stalemate in Lebanon, politicians recently formed a government, ceding control of key posts to Hezbollah representatives.

Israeli Prime Minister commented on the development to a group of United Nations diplomats visiting the Jewish state, explaining, “Iran has proxies. One of them is Hezbollah. Hezbollah just joined the government of Lebanon. That’s a misnomer; they actually control the government of Lebanon. It means that Iran controls the government of Lebanon.”
