Iran Vows to Unleash 3rd Missile Strike Against Israel
‘Operation True Promise 3 will occur at the right time,’ IRGC deputy commander Ali Fadavi warned on Monday, as cited by Iran International.
Iran and Israel have exchanged more than just threats in recent months. They’ve traded missiles, assassinations, and accusations.
In April, Iran launched more than 300 missiles and drones at the Jewish State in retaliation for the killing of two IRGC generals in Damascus.
In October 2024, roughly 200 more missiles followed after Israel assassinated several high-profile Iran-backed terror leaders, including Hamas’s Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah.
Now the Islamic Republic is warning that there’s more to come.
“Operation True Promise 3 will occur at the right time,” IRGC deputy commander Ali Fadavi warned on Monday, as cited by Iran International.
“Not a single day has passed without the world’s evil-doers waging war against us. Though the form of their actions may have changed, there has not been a day without it. Who stands on the other side, confronting us? The Great Satan, America, and those who fought with it against us.”
On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stood alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem to present a united front against Iran.
Netanyahu seized the moment to boast of Israel’s successes, declaring, “I have no doubt we can and will finish the job.”
When Israel was attacked on October 7, 2023, it appeared that Hamas’s terror sponsor had the upper hand, but sixteen months of warfare have reshaped the balance of power dramatically.
An IDF counterattack after Iran’s second strike has been particularly celebrated by U.S. and Israeli leaders, who claim it significantly weakened the regime’s defenses.
Meanwhile, as speculation grows about potential Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has voiced unwavering confidence in his nation’s military readiness.
“In terms of strong defense and confronting hard threats from the enemy, we have no worries or problems. Our capability to counter hard threats is at an excellent level, and for that reason, the people feel secure,” he said during a visit to a military expo in Tehran on Monday.
“The Islamic Revolution has managed to preserve itself as an independent identity and as a vast, hopeful base for the peoples of the region and even beyond. The reason for the anger of arrogant and colonialist forces around the world towards the Islamic Republic is the steadfastness and resistance of the Iranian nation in confronting them.”
