IDF Forces Eliminate 3 Palestinian Terrorists, Prevent Stabbing Attack

Palestinian terror

IDF forces shot and killed three Palestinian terrorists who were on their way to carry out a stabbing attack against Israelis at the Gush Etzion Junction.

A stabbing attempt was thwarted on Thursday evening when three knife-wielding terrorists were shot dead at Gush Etzion Junction, south of Jerusalem.

Three Palestinian men exited the nearby village of Beit Fajjar towards the junction shortly before 8 p.m., wearing dark clothing to camouflage themselves.

They were spotted and monitored by IDF forces posted at the junction, who waited for them for eight minutes. When the terrorists arrived and drew their knives, attempting to carry out a stabbing attack, the soldiers opened fire at them.

Two of the terrorists were immediately killed, while the third was critically wounded and pronounced dead after a short while. There were no Israeli casualties in the incident.

The terrorists were identified by Palestinian sources as Alaa Eid Kawazba, Muhannad Kawazba and Ahmad Shaker Kawazba. They are all estimated to be relatives of 18-year-old Ahmad Younis Kawazba, who stabbed and wounded an IDF reservist at the same location two days earlier and was subsequently shot dead.

The Gush Etzion Junction has been the scene of many attacks during the current wave of Palestinian terror.
