The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) admits, following extensive reports that it carried out airstrikes against Syrian and Iranian forces in and around Damascus. Israel Air Force (IAF) fighters primarily targeted Iranian and Hezbollah weapons dumps – thought to only be about 50 miles from Israel’s northern border.
