Home for Chanukah: Israel’s ‘Wonder Woman’ Returns to Tel Aviv
Israeli superstar Gal Gadot was seen taking a Chanukah “stroll” with her family “around rainy Tel Aviv,” Ynet reported.

Around the globe, the biggest recent news about Israeli actress Gal Gadot was related to her return to the “Fast & Furious” movie series.
In Israel, however, the “Wonder Woman” star made headlines for another reason: her return home to Tel Aviv during the Chanukah holiday, an eight-day festival that Jews throughout the world began celebrating last Monday night.
On Sunday, Ynet reported that Gadot was spotted in Tel Aviv pushing her daughter in a stroller, with her husband Jaron Varsano in tow.
Gadot and her family live in the tony Neve Tzedek neighborhood of Tel Aviv, to which the Israeli megastar traditionally returns when she’s not on set.
In addition to her turns as Wonder Woman in the DC Comics action series, Gadot has also starred as Gisele Yashar in “Fast & Furious” franchise. She will return to the series for the first time in a decade in “Fast X,” the series’ forthcoming installment.
Despite her bust schedule, Gadot finds time time to bring joy to her fans back home in Israel, focusing on communities in need or in crisis.
In August, Gadot surprised residents of Netiv HaAsara, a town near the Gaza border that is frequently targeted by the rockets of Palestinian terrorists.
In May, Gadot and Varsano announced their investment in ed-tech startup Safe School.
“Safe School is a content streaming platform for schools and municipalities. The company creates personalized educational plans to combat and reduce bullying and cyberbullying,” reported CTech at the time. “The platform is currently operating in Israel, where it has onboarded almost 600 schools. Gadot and Varsano’s investment comes on the back of a $2 million Seed round led by Safe School’s Co-Founder, Nir Zohar, President and COO of Wix.”
