Halakha הֲלָכָה

Derived from the Hebrew halakh הָלַךְ meaning “to walk”. Taken literally, therefore, “halakha” translates as “the way to go”. A universal principle of Judaism is that each community is allowed to interpret halakha for itself.  It is also true that Yeshua has authorized His community to establish halakha.
