CORONA EFFECT: Wild Animals Take Over Israel’s Cleanest City

wild boars haifa

With fewer people venturing outdoors due to the coronavirus restrictions, wild animals have beome bolder, roaming Israeli cities and frightening residents.

Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city, is known for its beauty and cleanliness.

Residents of the northern port city, however, have found themselves in a unique predicament as a result of the coronavirus restrictions.

As fewer people have been venturing outdoors, wild boars have come out of the wild and appear to have taken over without fear, creating a dirty mess as well as frightening civilians.

Only time will tell if the animals will disappear when life goes back to normal.
