ACT NOW: Demand Coral Springs Ban Pro-Hamas Merchandise
At the 2025 Florida Muslim Conference, hosted at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, vendors openly sold travel mugs featuring deceased Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind behind the horrific October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.
That brutal assault led to the murder of over 1,200 Israelis and the abduction of 251 hostages. Beneath Sinwar’s image, the mug read in Arabic: “The Martyr Leader.”

Hamas is officially designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the U.S. government. Allowing a taxpayer-funded venue to facilitate the sale of pro-Hamas propaganda is an insult to the values of Coral Springs and a betrayal of the city’s Jewish residents.
This is not the first time the Florida Muslim Conference has been associated with troubling rhetoric. The 2024 event was canceled due to concerns over its speakers glorifying Hamas.
And while Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook and the City Commission have issued strong statements condemning antisemitism, actions speak louder than words.
Terrorist propaganda has NO place in Coral Springs. We must demand accountability and ensure our community does not serve as a platform for Hamas supporters.
