The Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel (AACI) has announced that this year’s AACI Memorial Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday October 6, at 4 PM at the AACI Memorial Site in the forest at the Sha’ar Hagay junction.

This moving and significant ceremony is held each year to honor the memory of those North Americans or members of their immediate families who have fallen while serving in the IDF, or as victims of terror.  During the ceremony, the names of the fallen are added to a stone Memorial Wall which is surrounded by the towering trees which have been planted over many years.

The ceremony includes representatives from both the US and Canadian Embassies. This year’s main speaker is Rachelle Sprecher Fraenkel, mother of Naftali Fraenkel z”l, who was one of the three teens kidnapped and murdered by terrorists in 2014.

Help protect Israel's victims of terror!

Among those to be remembered this year is Taylor Force, a 28 year old West Point graduate who served in the US army in Afghanistan and in Iraq from 2009-2014.  A student at Vanderbilt University Graduate School of Management in Nashville TN, Taylor was killed in March of this year in an attack by a Palestinian terrorist, while in Israel to study Israeli entrepreneurship.  He was buried in his hometown of Lubbock, Texas.

The ceremony is in English with some Hebrew content.

The public is invited to attend and parking is available.

To register to attend the event and for driving instructions please contact Arlene Kaplinski at AACI.
