Due to their experience in preparing emergency and crisis kits, Israel’s special needs soldiers have been recruited to pack coronavirus testing gear.

IDF soldiers with special needs, known as “Special in Uniform” soldiers, are working around the clock to ensure hospitals and Magen David Adom centers have enough kits to test citizens possibly infected with COVID-19.
There are presently 500 special needs soldiers serving in the IDF on 35 bases.
In this video, Special in Uniform director Col. (ret.) Tiran Attia expresses deep gratitude to these special soldiers for their important contribution.
